I grew up in the Midwest - graduated with a degree in Fine Art - became a wife and mother, and now live and work in New York. Over the years I have used various tools and worked in various mediums but photography has always remained a constant in my life. There is a wonderful spontaneity to the art, as well as an incredible flexibility to enhance and improvise once the photograph has been taken. I use my camera to stop time and freeze what usually passes us by in an instant – to capture what inspires me - and hopefully, to inspire others.
