TheyWillHateUs offers up Gothicana music for saints and sinners alike. We present old time music about death, redemption and salvation, with all acoutic instrumentation, and a collection of our religious friends surrounding us, and video overlaid on our live performances. Adela, plays a vintage portable pump organ, used at Baptist revivals in the 1920's, which sharing her sweet voice with Jude, who plays assorted stringed instruments such as autoharp, tenor guitar, banjos, mandolin, while keeping the beat with a snare and bass drum on his feet. Overlaid on us are video pieces created by Jude that convey the songs and textural visual accompaniments... we're working on appartions....
