1. I'm trying to register with the site, but I can't get past the first page. After filling out the form and clicking the next button, the page reloads and all my information is lost. What should I do?
Most likely you have cookies disabled in your browser settings. You will have to enable cookies in order to register and log in to the site. If you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy. Under the 'Settings' heading, make sure that you have the bar set no higher than 'Medium High'. If you have to make adjustments, don't forget to click the 'Apply' button, reload the page, and try again. If you are using Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy. Under the 'Cookies' heading, make sure that both the 'Accept cookies from sites' and 'Accept third-party cookies' boxes are checked. Then click the 'OK' button, reload the page, and try again. If you are using Safari, go to Edit -> Preferences -> Securtiy. Under the 'Accept cookies' heading, make sure you have 'Only from sites you navigate to' selected. If you had to change the setting, close the box, reload the page, and try again.
Mac users. It seems there's a bug in Safari when it comes to accepting session cookies. Apple has released a security update that should correct this problem. Try installing the update and reloading your browser, then register again. If you still can't get past the first page, try using Firefox.
2. I completed the registration process and received a message saying that my activation e-mail was sent to the e-mail address I provided, but the activation e-mail never arrived. Should I try to register again?
No. One of three things likely happened. You could have mispelled your e-mail address when entering your information, the spam settings on your e-mail account may not be properly configured to accept e-mails from AmbushArts.com, or our mail server could have failed. In any case, please check your spam folder to make certain the activation e-mail was rerouted there. If it isn't there, check your spam settings to ensure that your account will accept e-mails from AmbushArts.com. Then contact us with your name and e-mail address and we'll send another activation e-mail manually.
3. I received the activation e-mail and clicked on the link contained within it. I then received a message saying that my account was activated, but when I enter my username and the password sent to me in the activation e-mail and click the 'log in' button, nothing seems to happen. There's no error message, but I'm still seeing the log in box and can't edit my profile. What's going on?
Again, this is most likely a cookie issue. Please see question one for details on how to configure your browser to accept cookies.
