I DREAMED IN DAISIES

I dreamed in daisies,
Fell into yellow and green fields;
Cozy afternoons
Under leafy shields.
I dreamed big, my buds grew tall
And flew into the air,
They towered overhead
And everywhere.
I wandered off
Through massive stems
On yellow, sunny days;
Somewhere amid such pretty things
I lost my way.
Enormous petals wilted, falling,
Quaking all the earth.
They fell in subtle ways
Upon the dirt.

loved the colors, imagery.  should it be wandered instead of wandering?

i wanted smells in there, and a bit of sounds . . .

Sharon,
Oh, yes it should be wandered! Thank you!
I do want this to be a little longer, so I could put some smells and sounds in there for sure.
Thanks for the suggestions and the spelling error. Maybe it's time for some new glasses!

I like your use of strong verbs: cozy, towered, menacing, massive, Enormous, Quaking.

Pretty poem.
