I'm 18. I've been painting since I was a baby. At first it was watercolors, & now it's oils & acrylics. I have Cystic Fibrosis, which is a terminal lung disease. It has limited me from doing a lot of the things that healthy kids do. Lucky enough for me though, I was never really interested in doing anything other than learning, & creating art. My C.F. has really evolved my outlook on life, which I would say is kind of the theme to my recent work. But other than that sob story. I LOVE to create! Nothing gives me greater joy, than finishing a 4'x4' painting, that I spent hours on. Right now my favorite tool is the palette knife. I love the sound it makes against the board. I work in a lot of other mediums, I'm expanding as an artist. I love photography, drawing, painting, & writing, etc. When I was young, I always wanted to be a fashion designer, I drew a lot of dresses. I'm pretty tapped into the aesthetic wave length. My multi-medium personality, really makes my work interesting to create. I think with a lot of concepts. The more I pursue art, the more I see that I could never be tied to just ONE medium. I want to do it all. My main objective as an artist is to help & inspire people to: 1.) be alive 2.)conquer suppression & 3.) create the future, for themselves, & for their fellow man.
