Robert Elrod was born October 8, 1968 and found his love for art at an early age. He learned by copying book covers and pages out of comic books. In 2002, Robert returned to his love of comic books and began putting together stories of his own and has self-published 4 mini-comics, while contributing to those of other independent publishers. He's taught himself to paint digitally with Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom tablet. Robert is a graphic designer, specializing in interactive and print communications, who enjoys illustration in his spare time. He has over 20 years of graphic design industry experience. He has been married for over 21 years and has two adult aged sons. Robert works from his home in Parker, Colorado as an independent creative mercenary. He recently won the Frontier Award for “Best Non-Anime Depiction” at Nan Desu Kan 2008 and also launched www.monsterportraits.com.
