Welcome to AmbushArts.com, a quarterly barrage of high-caliber art. In each issue, you'll discover potent new work from some of the most exciting voices in art today. With in-depth interviews and regularly updated bios accompanying every piece, you'll also have the opportunity to gain fresh perspectives on the creative process and an inside look at the personalities redefining art as we know it. Expect the following ordnance: poetry, short stories, essays, photography, short film, visual art, and music.

AmbushArts.com is much more than a quarterly online magazine. We're committed to increasing the audience for art in America and raising the standards to which it is held. That's why we're building an online community of artists, students, and art appreciators who want to improve their craft and learn more about the labor of expression. There will be online workshops, forums, competitions, Q&A sessions with guest artists, exercises to hone technique, networking opportunities, and much more. - Read the third issue and fill out the reader survey. If you enjoy the magazine, why not submit your work for a future issue. AmbushArts.com is now considering work for its fourth issue (Summer 2009).
- There's a new way to support the artists whose work you admire. Every month each member is given five matches
 . When you find a work sample by another artist that you enjoy, you can use one of your matches to give that work a candle . The more candles a work receives the more popular it will become. To make it easier to browse through the work samples on AmbushArts.com, we've added an art search feature. Click on the 'Browse' button and then go to 'art search'. Clicking on a work sample thumbnail will take you to a page dedicated to that work, where you can leave comments and use one of your matches to support the work. Remember, you only get five matches a month, so spend them wisely and help your favorite artists earn the recognition they deserve.- Take part in AmbushArts.com's first poetry exercise. Anyone interested in becoming a better poet? Stop by the Craft Discussion portion of the poetry forum and get involved.
